Ligue 1 Giants Secure Highly Rated Winger to Boost Attacking Options
Ligue 1 outfit Lille OSC have finalized a deal to secure highly rated Turkish youth international Basar Onal. The 22-year-old winger arrives from Dutch side NEC Nijmegen after both clubs reached an agreement on a long-term contract keeping him in France until 2030.
The transfer fee is understood to be worth an initial €9.5 million, with an additional €2.5 million in performance-related add-ons. Onal enjoyed a standout Eredivisie campaign last term, netting seven goals and registering eight assists to guide Nijmegen to an impressive third-place finish.
