Monaco CEO Demands Suitable Valuation to Sanction Midfielder Transfer
AS Monaco have drawn a line in the sand regarding the future of their prized attacking midfielder Maghnes Akliouche amid intensifying interest from Paris Saint-Germain. Speaking directly at a press conference, Monaco CEO Thiago Scuro sent a clear message to the reigning Ligue 1 champions, emphasizing that the club is under no pressure to sell.
The 24-year-old playmaker has become a central figure in PSG's summer transfer strategy as manager Luis Enrique looks to reshape his tactical setup. However, the Monegasque club is holding out for a premium fee, backed by the player's long-term contract and crucial role in their upcoming domestic and European campaigns.

Scuro openly addressed the ongoing negotiations, putting the financial pressure back on the capital club's directors. "Monaco is ready to keep Akliouche if there is no good agreement," Scuro stated firmly, making it clear that the Principality side will not accept cut-price offers for their academy graduate.
Despite the stern warning, the Monaco chief admitted that daily negotiations are taking place and a resolution could be reached swiftly if parameters change. "If we find an agreement that suits Monaco, it can happen very quickly. Otherwise, there will be nothing. But there are discussions every day. This is the time for that," Scuro added.
