Juventus Attempt Cheeky Swap Deal as Paris Refuse to Discount Outcast Keeper
Paris Saint-Germain have baseline conditions for parting ways with Lucas Chevalier this summer. The French international goalkeeper endured a difficult debut season in the capital following his 40 million euro move from Lille, eventually losing his starting spot under manager Luis Enrique.
According to reports from Italy via Tuttomercatoweb, Juventus tried to capitalize on the situation by structuring a discounted joint-transfer package. The Serie A giants attempted to bundle Chevalier into their ongoing negotiations for PSG outcast forward Randal Kolo Muani to lower the total financial package.

While the exact figures of the Italian proposal remain undisclosed, the reigning back-to-back European champions immediately rejected the strategy. Although PSG are actively looking to offload Kolo Muani, club officials maintain a vastly different stance regarding the future of their 24-year-old goalkeeper.
Chevalier lost his starting role in December to Matvey Safonov, who arrived from Krasnodar and brought immediate stability to the tactical setup. This lack of game time subsequently cost Chevalier his spot in the France national team squad just before their departure for the FIFA World Cup tournament.
Despite these setbacks, the Parisian hierarchy refuses to sell the former UNFP Ligue 1 Goalkeeper of the Year on the cheap. The board still believes in Chevalier's long-term potential and will only consider a permanent exit if Juventus returns with a significantly improved standalone offer.
