Ligue 1 outfit Stade Rennais have secured a major defensive reinforcement by confirming the acquisition of right-back Bryan Reynolds. The 25-year-old United States international, who has earned seven caps and scored one goal for the USMNT, has committed his future to the French club by putting pen to paper on a six-year deal.
Reynolds originally rose to prominence through the youth ranks at MLS side FC Dallas before earning a high-profile move to Serie A giants AS Roma, where he played from 2021 to 2023. The fullback then rebuilt his career momentum in the Belgian top flight with Westerlo, delivering impressive performances that caught the attention of European scouts.

The American defender expressed his excitement about moving to France, viewing it as a significant milestone. "It is a new step and a high one," Reynolds stated in a club press release. "I was very eager to arrive here, and it makes complete sense to accept such a challenge with the Europa League on the horizon."
Tactically, Reynolds is expected to provide fierce competition for Przemyslaw Frankowski, who arrived in Brittany last summer.
