Ligue 1 Return and Future Purchase Option for Richardson

The 24-year-old midfielder secures a highly anticipated return to the Stade Oceane for the 2026-2027 campaign. The temporary switch includes an option for the French club to secure his services permanently next summer for a structured fee of 8 million euros.

Richardson returns to France following a brief six-month loan spell in Denmark with FC Copenhagen, who ultimately elected not to trigger their own permanent purchase option. Fiorentina officials opted for another development loan to ensure the player secures consistent first-team minutes.

The Moroccan international, capped nine times by his country, expressed immense joy at returning 'home' to the club where he developed through the academy ranks. Le Havre capitalised on the homecoming by featuring the returning midfielder as the primary model for their official home kit launch.

Having previously spent two seasons commanding the midfield for the Sky and Blues in Ligue 2 before moving to Reims, Richardson's familiarity with the tactical setup provides crucial stability. His top-tier experience will bolster Le Havre's midfield options ahead of a demanding domestic league campaign.
